GIFLIF Fest.
GIFLIF Fest is the Great Indian Film & Literature Festival, founded in 2015 in Gurgaon as the Gurgaon International Film & Literature Festival and renamed after its first edition. It has run eight editions across Gurugram, Bhopal and Raipur.
A festival that travelled. It started in Gurgaon, changed its name when it outgrew the city, and has been finding new rooms ever since.

Films screened at the festival include Aankhon Dekhi, CityLights, Aligarh and Mukkabaaz, alongside films from over a hundred countries.
What actually happens there
Film screenings and filmmaker conversations. Poetry — including a mushaira on a moving Gurgaon metro, and a session on a cruise on Bhopal's lake. Book discussions with the authors who wrote them. Stand-up, music, and the kind of programming that does not fit a category.
It is a literary and cultural festival, not a Hindi-language literary festival. That distinction matters to us.
