GIFLIF FEST | The Great Indian Film and Literature Festival
The Great Indian Film and Literature Festival, GIFLIF, is Asia’s first film and literature festival. The inaugural edition was launched in Gurugram in December 2015. With over 1800 film entries from 108 countries and 16 sessions that focused on the numerous facets of film-making such as screen-writing, direction, lyrics and the journey of the artists, GIFLIF was much appreciated by the audience of 7,000.

Mehak Mirza Prabhu invites you to unwind and rewind with her storytelling session, which will have specially crafted fictional stories. This set is an emotional roller-coaster with a range of topics that go from a light fun story of a 45 year old house wife, Sheila Mathur, who finds love on tinder with a sweet twist in PHIR MOHOBBAT KARNI HAI, to a group of 4 girls discussing their failed suicide attempts in CHAR PANHKE, to a village girl Rajjo innocently comparing the life of a woman to Mango pickle in KAIRI KA ACHAAR, to a 70 year old granny giving solutions of life’s major problems through simple and fun stories.The short stories are performed in a mix of Hindi, Urdu and English, no story is same as the other but they flow seamlessly and share a soul.
